Welcome to your dream mountain getaway! Perched on the private southern slope of Sparrowhawk Mountain on 45 acres of private woodlands, this spacious cabin is located in the heart of Bethel, fifteen minutes from Sunday River ski resort and five minutes from downtown Bethel, cross country ski trails, and the White Mountains National Forest. Whether you are looking for a relaxing retreat or an adventurous vacation, this unique house has everything you need to make your stay unforgettable.

Good to know

The lodge features high ceilings, expansive windows, and elegant materials and furnishings. The home comfortably accommodates up to 10 people, with three bedrooms and an additional sleeping area in the walk-out basement, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. The 3.5 bathrooms include spa-worthy tiling and a dreamy bathtub in the primary bath. The fully equipped stylish kitchen, sun-soaked dining area and living room, half bath and laundry room, expansive deck and primary suite make up the open first floor plan. Upstairs you’ll find two queen bedrooms and a full bath. On the lower level is another full bath, yoga/gym room, wet bar with wine fridge, theater room, and additional sleeping area with two sets of twin bunkbeds. The lowest level has sliding doors to provide easy access to the brand new hot-tub, situated just below the deck.

Other Details to Note

The home is surrounded by southwesterly views of the White Mountains and the forest, and offers easy access to the slopes, trails, and town. The outdoor adventures are your doorstep are endless: nordic and alpine skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, biking, golfing, swimming, fishing, climbing and more. Prefer to take it easy and have a glass of wine or a good burger? Sparrowhawk Lodge is five minutes from downtown Bethel and its lively restaurant scene. Or you can simply relax and unwind at the house, soaking in the hot tub, working out in the gym/yoga room, reading by the electric fireplace, playing games, or watching movies in the cozy theater room.

My friends and I had the most wonderful weekend getaway at this beautiful home. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the cozy, stylish decor to the comfortable amenities that made us feel right at home. The space was spotless, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Ryan and Alice were gracious and attentive hosts, making our experience seamless from start to finish. This house rocks, second year in a row that we rented from Ryan. This trip for me signifies the end of a brutal busy season being able to just go somewhere remote and private to relax. We stayed in the house almost the whole week (one trip to Portland midweek) and just relaxed. Clean and spacious, this house makes the outside come in really well, very balanced. Thank you!

Beautiful stay, modern but still very cozy. Had everything we needed! Close to Sunday River, as well as multiple restaurants. Highly recommend and worth every penny. Truly a gem! This is our 5th year skiing at SR, stayed in several places, this one has it all.

Highly recommend! We were with a group of 6 and could have comfortably fit more. House was exactly as described with all the amenities you could want - Hot tub, full kitchen, 2 hang out areas, games, fireplace, lots of privacy, etc. 2 beds upstairs w a full bath, primary on main level with a full bath + a separate half bath with washer/dryer. 4 bunk beds in basement with another full bath and some privacy. All guests said the beds were comfortable and rooms stayed dark with black out curtains. House itself had great natural light and was very picturesque . ~15 min drive to Sunday River. Can’t wait to book again next year.

This was a beautifully appointed and luxurious place to spend some windy, snowy nights in Bethel. There was so much attention to detail in the general design of the house and the may ways it accommodated guests. So many proactive little notes and tips throughout the house made us feel supported and cared for. Ryan was extremely responsive as well. The house is sited up off the road and tucked into a wooded hill. We saw all kinds of wildlife from our windows. The beds were incredibly comfy. Not a thing was out of place. We would absolutely return to this spot again.

Ryan (and his team) is/are super responsive to any concerns both ahead of and during your stay. This is our second stay at this property and both times have been great. This time we had an issue with the EV charger, which he worked diligently to get fixed in time for us to charge our car to get home. The place is comfortable, clean, and very beautiful.

Superb home. Perfect for our family with two adult couples, two kids and a dog. The layout works wonderfully so that everyone feels like they have their own space without being spread too far apart. Beautiful finishes and very thoughtful design. This is a terrific house for visiting Sunday River. Great for those coming home after a day of skiing and utterly serene for those who want to enjoy the day off the mountain. Only a short drive to the mountain and into town for groceries. Ryan was a terrific host; he reached out well in advance and was very welcoming. Will definitely stay here again when we come to the area.

Our family of 3 really enjoyed our time at Sparrowhawk Lodge. The home is new, immaculate, with all the conveniences one would need. Very private and beautiful location. Close to skiing at Sunday River and to Bethel for dining. Would highly recommend. Ryan was very communicative and helpful, both check-in and check-out was a breeze.
